    Free digital course - Democratic public ownership best practices

    The online course will enable participants to learn from cities that are leading the energy transition and provide plenty of opportunities to exchange municipal power experiences with other cities throughout Europe.

    This course takes place as part of the mPower project. Through city-to-city conversations we will be able to identify and share best practices that have led to more equitable, just and participative energy policies.

    For a period of six weeks, participants will:

    • have access to energy transition resources, videos and specialists
    • receive guidance to pull out best practices and key lessons to draft their own energy transition recommendations
    • advance public ownership over energy and
    • build lasting, active relationships with other municipalities.


    You may choose amonsgt three iterations of the course:

    1. April – May 2020
    2. September – October 2020
    3. February – March 2021


    The April course will start on Wednesday 1st April and run every Wednesday for 6 weeks, with the last session on 6 May.

    The course takes place on Wednesday from 1pm to 3pm.
